The South Winnipeg Tennis Community, a Tennis Canada BTC recently won the 2009 Rookie BTC of the Year. The South Winnipeg Tennis Community has developed an After School Tennis Program at 11 schools in the area and has had over 200 participants this year! It has also teamed up with the St. James-Assiniboia School Division to provide tennis activities, equipment, and workshops as well as two end of season Tennis Fests at the WLTC.
